Mount Carmel Youth Ranch An Authenticaly Catholic Troubled Teen Program For Teenage Boys ages 12-17

Mount Carmel Youth Ranch: A Catholic Residential Therapeutic Boarding School Program  for at-risk teens. MTCYR is an alternative Catholic boarding school designed for troubled teens and at-risk boys ages 12-17. We are owned and operated by a devout Catholic family who utilizes a unique therapeutic approach that focuses on building the Christian virtues within the wounded adolescent. Located on 40,000 acres that overlook the Beartooth Mountain range of northern Wyoming, MTCYR is a “real working cattle ranch” that offers students an authentic western experience. We believe that engagement with livestock and other ranch activities is instrumental in educating the mind, strengthening the body, and elevating the spirit. With over 20 years of experience, MTCYR will not only repair the damaged self-esteem of the struggling adolescent, but will also help mend a family relationship that his poor decisions have negatively impacted. It is through a focus on Christian morality that allows the youth to become conscience of the ways in which his bad behavior hurts others. We believe that every boy who comes to MTCYR is intrinsically good and capable of receiving the help to better their lives!

How do we help Troubled Teenage Boys? By unfolding his heart and mind as God created him on a 40,000 acre working Cattle Ranch.
